Competition Venues will be open for Commonwealth Teams for 'official practice' from 0900 to 1800 Friday 31 Aug 2018 and again from 0900 to 1800 Saturday 1st Sep 2018. Thereafter the Competition Venues will be closed to competitors and their agents until the first competition session on Tuesday 4th Sep 2018. The venues will however remain open to the general public as normal, we have no control over this.
Only two Anglers may fish in a boat (use a boatman to row or use the engine).
As directed by the Fishery Manager
Only practice waters can be fished -
Dennett - from A5 Bridge west to River Foyle
Quiggery - from Seskinore Bridge south west to Fintona town.
Transport to and from the Competition Venues on these two practice days will not be provided by the organisers, so Teams should plan accordingly.
Day permits to fish the practice sessions will need to be paid directly to the venues on the practice day. The organisers have suggested a reduced fee of £10 per angler per session.
For the day tickets for the rivers see the information and photographs here for Dennett and here for Quiggery.
For the Lakes, day tickets are available from the fishery manager/representative.
